Gâteau au yaourt… Yogurt cake

Le gâteau au yaourt est un des premiers gâteaux qu’on apprend à faire car c’est facile, tout se mesure avec un pot de yaourt, pas besoin de balance et tout se mélange en même temps. J’ai hâte de l’apprendre à Isabelle! Alors il vous faut:
1 pot de yaourt
1/2 pot d’huile
3 pots de farine
2 pots de sucre
1 sachet de levure
2 œufs
1 zeste de citron

The yogurt cake is the easiest cake you can do, and that’s why it is very often the first cake you learn to bake when you are a child in France. It is so easy because everything is measured with the yogurt tub (no need for scale) and because everything is mixed together without specific order. I can’t wait to teach Isabelle! So here is what you need:
1 tub of yogurt
1/2 tub of oil (canola for example)
3 tubs of raising flour
2 tubs of sugar
2 eggs
1 lemon zest

Mélangez tout et ça devrait donner un mélange comme ça

Verser dans un moule et faire cuire à 180 degrés pendant 30 min (Ou jusqu’à 45 min, ca depend des fours). Faire le test du couteau qui doit ressortir sec. Voilà le résultat :

Pour the mix in a baking tray and place in oven at 180 degrees for 30 min(up to 45 min, depends on the oven). It is ready when you test with a knife and the knife is dry. Here is the cake:

You can then customize it with all sorts of ideas, like with chocolate, with fruits, with banana (it give you banana bread), etc… Have fun creating!
